Lagadec primeurs takes on the challenge of modernizing communication for daily offers and prospecting tools
Lagadec Primeurs, a French fruit and vegetable wholesaler 🍏🍊, is one of Consentio’s first customers. We had the pleasure of interviewing Yann, the sales manager, about his experience with Consentio.
Lagadec Primeurs, a Brittany-based company, distributes its products across France to various types of customers: supermarkets, wholesalers, retail outlets, etc. This broad scope also presents a challenge: the ability to adapt and efficiently communicate its product ranges and daily offers to different buyers and prospects.
Until now, all information for partners was transmitted over the phone. Creating and managing an attractive website or daily catalogs represented significant costs and resources. It was in this context that Consentio was introduced to Lagadec Primeurs in 2019.
The training of Lagadec Primeurs’ sales teams was carried out gradually in-house.
The main challenge for us was the adoption and installation by our customers. In supermarkets, this happens quite quickly:
"Large retailers adopt the app very quickly; they are comfortable with this tool."
However, in other sectors, the learning curve was slightly longer, as users first had to get used to downloading the app and then to incorporating it into their workflow.

Among best practices, using a QR code on calendars has proven to be an effective strategy for providing customers with quick access to the digital catalog.
Faced with the daily challenge of price updates, integrating Consentio with Lagadec Primeurs’ ERP was a game-changer. Now, price updates are only made in the ERP, which then feeds into the platform. This integration eliminated the need for manual double-entry of prices—everything now originates from the ERP and updates automatically:

We have identified three major benefits of using Consentio:
One of the biggest advantages of Consentio is the real-time update of product information, unlike paper catalogs or phone exchanges. Integrating Consentio with our ERP has significantly simplified catalog management, ensuring customers always have access to up-to-date information.
One key observation was that the tool is particularly useful for smaller clients, helping Lagadec Primeurs save time on phone calls.

Although Consentio does not replace our phone calls entirely, a lot of information can now be highlighted in the catalog, and orders can be placed autonomously. This optimization frees up crucial time for the sales team.
Thanks to Consentio, we now receive spontaneous orders from new customers—even those we haven’t actively prospected.
Digitization reduces human errors caused by manual entries, which need to be done quickly, and ensures greater order accuracy. At the same time, the app provides instant access to orders, helping sales teams better monitor and manage their activity.
